Hoop Stars 3 on 3 Winter League FAQ’s

How many divisions are there? We have 2 divisions: Pre K/Kindergarten and 1st/2nd graders

When are skills nights/practices? Pre K/Kindergarten have skills nights on Tuesdays starting on January 5th and 1st/2nd Graders are on Wednesday nights starting January 6th.

What time is practice/skills night? Team practices are at 5:30 and 6:15 pm. Your team will be assigned a practice time before the start of the season. If there is a time that works better for your schedule, please let me know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

When and where are the games? Pre K/Kindergarten will play at 9 am on Saturdays and 1st/2nd graders will play at either 10 or 11 am. You will receive a detailed schedule of date and time before the start of the season. All games and skills nights are held at C3 Sports.

Do I need to form/make my own team? No. Teams will be assembled by Hoop Stars staff and announced prior to the start of the season. You can make friend requests at registration, and we will make every effort to accommodate them.

What are the expectations of a volunteer coach? The Hoop Stars staff will be facilitating skills night/practices. Volunteer coaches are mainly responsible for encouraging children and facilitating a fun experience on game days. Hoop Stars staff will also be circulating on game days for extra support.
